The problem is never motivation. It is what surrounds us.
Most advice about living better tells us to try harder. Be more disciplined. Feel guiltier. It doesn't work.
It's not that we don't want it. It's that everything around us makes the better choice the hardest one. We started asking a different question: what if the problem isn't the people, but the environment they're living in?
That question became NOPA.
Started with two. Grew into a team. Still the same question.
Mai studied behaviour. Pierre designed services. We met in Saigon and kept coming back to the same question. Why do people who really want to live better keep failing to?
Not for lack of wanting. New year resolutions are gone by week two. Classes paid for and never attended. It isn't laziness. Nothing around them made it easy to keep going.
We started there. The first answer was simple: an object people carry every day, good-looking enough that they want to, with a small reminder built in. NOPA Move.
One habit. One city. One partner at a time.
Not one product. A whole experience ecosystem focused on one thing: making on Building Better Habits feel easier.
NOPA makes practical content across three areas: body, mind and consumption. Not general advice, things people can try today.
NOPA Day Club turns that into something people do together. One morning, one activity, a crowd trying it at the same time. It's also where we test every format.
100+ cafés, gyms, studios and spas across Saigon, picked by hand, with perks for Nopers.
And everyday objects, so what we believe in has something to hold onto.
Content creates attention. Experiences create community. Products make it tangible.
